Player? SBS server on PC/Mac or NAS or Touch? Library on computer or USB into Touch? So, everything is fine, server is running, squeezebox on, amp is on, but when I hit play , it won't play. what can be up? -- thesil Gerry. [slim] SqueezeBox won't play weird sample rate properly
Hi, I have some music that has been recorded at the weird sample rate of 37.8KHz, in FLAC format. My Squeezebox will play it, but it's playing at 44.1KHz so it's too fast. [slim] Squeezebox won't play certain asx stream.
I was trying to play this radio stream: http://www.am1430.com/Archive/am1430.asx The stream won't play natively on squeezebox 3. It will only play when using squeezecenter to do wma transcoding. Could anyone tell me what is so special about this stream? It would be great if future player firmware release could include the handling of this type of wma stream. It only supports the old mms transport protocol and not http. The mms protocol has been deprecated by Microsoft and even WMP12 will not play it. It has been stated many times that mms will not be supported. Have you tried restarting your computer, or even shutting it down completely and starting again? I use a Mac, so the situation is not exactly comparable, but occasionally I have a similar problem which I can cure by these methods. Has anyone messed with your stereo connections or inputs? Maybe double check your connections and input selection. Also volume on both SB and Stereo. Sometimes the simple things are the ones to mess you up. [slim] Squeezebox won't play anything although connected
This week my squeezebox 3 stopped working. I tried a Factory default, reinstalled queezecenter with no luck. At the moment I can see the squeezebox from the squeezecenter, I can borrow the library and Internet stations on both, but when I tried to play something it does not make anything. [slim] Squeezebox won't play!
My Squeezebox stopped playing tonight, for some reason. I can hit play on a track, and it will show up in my now playing, but the time gets stuck on 0:00 and no sound comes out. I've tried restarting my computer, turning the Squeezebox on and off, clearing out and rescanning my music filesstill nothing. Don't think it's a connectivity issue because network health seems good. I can see the track that's attempting to play in SlimServer (and it reports as playing), but like I said, it gets stuck at 0:00. Any ideas?
