Well done that man, I can happy report my squeezeplay 7.4.1 from the Oct 20th dailies seems to be working. I am still using the SBS 7.4 initial release as well, I didn't fancy another reload of SBS. After closing and reopening (after adding the IP under settings/advanced/networking/remove libraries/add new library) everything is fine.. P pski, I got Squeezeplay working semi-properly by going to Settings/Choose Player then selecting my Squeezebox. Once Squeezeplay accepted this, it showed up my Music Library. I was now able to go into Settings/Choose Player and choose Squeezeplay as my Player. The downside is that Squeezeplay appears to be as geriatric as myself. If I close it, it does not remember the settings on reopening, so I have to go through the motions again (very important for a geriatric) to get Squeezeplay player to recognise my music library. Note: even without the above Squeezeplay can be made to work by opening it, reloading/refreshing the Squeezebox Server home page a minute later and selecting Squeezepplay as Player. All in all, Squeezeplay needs to be tidied up drastically so that it just works - going through hoops is fine for old codgers with the time and impatience to do it. Luckily, I know enough spanish to fix it.. I had also inadvertently picked spanish during the install due to latency in the interface... could have been my fault after all.
