I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you can use the Brightness button on the SB3's remote to change the brightness on the Boom. I know I've used the SB3's text size button this way. You can also alter the brightness settings on the SBS web ui, under Settings > Player. Likewise for mysb.com. I found after switching to 7.6.0 that a lot of my brightness modes were changed and needed to be changed back to what I wanted. But none of them were broken. -- aubuti aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89038 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Hi Andy Thanks for the advice. yes I did try the remote button for SB3. The Boom does not have that control. I have reverted to v7.5.6 and everything is ok again. Perhaps there is a problem with 7.6 Philip -- pwt01 pwt01's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=22479 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89038 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

I think the off and on brightness values are separate settings, so just cos it's correct when it's on, doesn't mean it's correct when it's off. I have a very similar problem. Since the last update, the off screen on both my squeezebox 3 and my Boom is black. The screensaver is set to date and time and the brightness is correctly set. Re: [slim] Strange behaviour after updating 7.6.0 in one SB3
Check the player's screensaver settings in the web interface. If they've changed, just reset them. If they change again, it's probably because of broken SBS integration with mysqueezebox.com. You'd probably want to disable integration in Settings > mysqueezebox.com in the web interface. -- JJZolx JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=89038 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
