Do you particularly need Tidal Connect. You can play TIDAL just fine via LMS and the Transporter (just install the TIDAL plugin in LMS and add the TIDAL app at mysqueezebox.com. I won't have quality losses (up to 24\96 which is what the transporter supports) as it is an spdif optical connection? ; What I'm looking for is to listen to tidal connect controlled directly from my smartphone and use the transporter as a DAC. It will not display any of the track metadata. Hi friends! I would like to know if connecting to the optical input of the transporter from a source that supports tidal connect (wiim-mini), the transporter screen; what information will it show? Will it show details of the song/artist that is playing? The second screen will play the VU? I would like to know if the optical input only transmits digital sound or also information about what is being played?
