Re: [slim] c:\program files\Slim server\SlimServer Web Interface.url Application not found

2008-01-14 Thread SpoonServer

Changing my default browser appears to have fixed it so many thanks.

Again, apologies for dragging up the same question, appreciate how
frustrating that gets.

Thanks again!

Yes, the forum seach has always been rubbish (why don't they fix that...
save the same questions being asked over and over again) but just
recently it's got worse. I've been getting the same error message for a
while.

Anyway, to cure this:

Windows cannot find 'SlimServer Web Interface.url

see here:

This is often due to some browser addon, such as google or yahoo toolbar. If
you're using one of them, go to the Windows settings, Add/Remove programs and
define your default browser again. This should help.

[slim] c:\program files\Slim server\SlimServer Web Interface.url Application not found

2008-01-14 Thread SpoonServer

Guys I'm sure this has no doubt been posted before but searching the
forum always returns the error (posted at end of message).

So, can anybody help or link me to a previous thread?

I have a wireless S'box 3, Music source PC is running;

SlimServer Version: 6.5.4 - 12568 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252
Perl Version: 5.8.8 MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt

However when I try and launch the Slim Server tray icon as I always
have in the past (prior to upgrading to latest release) it returns the
Interface.Url error.

Within the c:\program files\Slim server\ folder there is a shortcut to
the SlimServer Web Interface.url file which points to localhost:9000
and opens in IE fine.

Not sure what I'm missing here but desperate for some help please!
