[slim] connecting a slimp3 to a non-local squeeze center
Hi, I've got an old slimp3 that was gathering dust at the office (sorry) that I've brought home. I can point at SC running on my laptop at home, but what I really want is to point it to the squeeze center I've got running at the office. I can connect to my office SC from various devices at home using the web interface, softsqueeze, and squeeze slave by supplying the IP address and port 9000. The slimp3 setup lets me specify the IP address but not a port number. I have updated the firmware to 2.3 Am I trying to do something impossible? If not, how can I accomplish my goal? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. -- dborod dborod's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=21049 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=63661 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
