this scrolling is in the firmware. If you old the scroll buttons,
it will ramp
up the speed significantly.
If you "hold" the scroll buttons it will speed up.
The animations don't actually slow down very much at all, if you
press twice in succession the second screen immediately is pushed
onto the screen.
