WMA is called "Windows Media" in the Slimserver/SqueezeCenter File Types settings. WMA downloaded with embedded DRM are not supported. WMA without DRM are fully supported AFAIK. Could not find anywhere that would display the version of firmware. They were ripped from a cd. OK. Do you know if these files have DRM in them or not - if they do they won't play. If you didn't download them, how did you create them - were they ripped from CD's? I have just looked at WMP11 and the rip settings (as I don't use it normally I assume these are the defaults) 1. It will rip to wma lossless 2. I'm not sure about current WMP settings but around wmp8 & 9 when you ripped a CD by default it added copy protection. You had to disable this setting.
