Seems to be fixed (only tested on Windows). Thanks!

I just saw you checked in a possible fix today, but seems to be source
- will there be a binary to test?

Yes, I managed to recreate the problem on Ubuntu running on vmware. I
still don't understand why it works differently for you on XP.

It is imho the same issue on all platforms I tested.

I will be
making a new binary later today, just looking at some other problems
first.

Great, thanks!

2006-07-11 Thread Michael Herger

So here's the screenshot from SlimCD. The border problem is
the same on Windows (or even worse: it's a lighter grey than on Linux).

I still cannot recreate this one.

Shouldn't be that hard: download those 100MB from
http://www.herger.net/SlimCD and run it on your PC (or in VMWare) :-)

Can you double check the version of
Softsqueeze that's running. What version of Java are you using (mines
1.5.0_06)? Have you tweaked the settings on your Windows desktop at all?

On Windows it's Java 1.5.0_05. Tweaks? Can't think of it (except moving it
around and server connection). I'll try to get rid of those settings.

SlimCD is on 8278 & 8370, Java 1.5.0-b64 (whatever this is...), today's
(07-11) build. There shoulnd't be any settings preset.

...and just to be sure: freshly installed Suse 10.1, Java 1.5.0_07,
yesterday's 6.3.1 build - same problem.

I still see the same behaviour as before (grey border).

Hmm, it looks fine on my PC. Can you post a screenshot?

Additionally it does not seem to be working any more at all on Linux
(at least not on my SlimCD :-/). I'm getting the following exception:

Error starting Softsqueeze: Mixer not supported: null
Nothing here has changed recently, what was the last version that worked
for you?

Sourceforge seems to have a problem right now, too. Whether I click that
link or google around I get a "500 - Internal Server Error". Bad luck for
today. I'll try tomorrow. Thanks.

Let me know if you spot anything else.

Any chance of getting album art (esp in fullscreen) working again?
I've had a skin idea to work on for a while, but the album art support
seems to have been removed at some point.

I'l try again, with Softsqueeze 2.7 :). This should fix the border on
Windows, fix the keyboard shortcuts and not break OSX!

What about the Linux version? Wanted to test, but my Linux box isn't on
SVN and the nightlies are broken...
