Hello,

while testing my own stuff this error occurs:

usrp_open_interface:usb_claim_interface: failed interface 1
could not claim interface 1: Device or resource busy
usrp_basic_tx: can't open tx interface

I'm using openSuse10.2 with the latest gnuradio software from svn. I'm able to
use the examples in gnurdaio-examples but not my own code.
I also tried to solve this by using the hints given in this threads from the
maillinglist:

http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/discuss-gnuradio/2006-03/msg00249.html

Has anybody an idea how to fix this?

[Discuss-gnuradio] Need some help/advice

2007-07-17 Thread Benedikt Raming
Hello,

I finished to setup the receiver for my modem I have to build. Because it is
based on the atsc-stuff I need a sample to test it. Is someone able to send me
some data that is not processed by the atsc receive chain, which I can use for
testing?

Because there is still a problem with my transmitter I'm not able to generate
my test data. Maybe anyone has an idea to fix my problem. When running the
graph I get the following error message:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File atsctransmitter.py, line 11, in module
import symbolmapper
ImportError: /home/benedikt/gnuradio/programme/symbolmapper.so: undefined
symbol: _ZN13gr_sync_block8forecastEiRSt6vectorIiSaIiEE

Any help would be kind.

Benedikt

[Discuss-gnuradio] ATSC at the code repository

2007-06-21 Thread Benedikt Raming
Hello,

beside trying to solve my still existing problem to build wxgui I tried to set
up the atsc transmitter/receiver as listed in the README.signal_flow, but I'm
not able to find several blocks. I couldn't find GRWeaverModHead VSB modulator
and GRWeaverModTail VSB modulator. The following question is, if I can use the
standard mapping block from gnuradio, or there is a special block for atsc.

Searching the mailing list I found a thread discussing to port the stuff to
version 2.x/3.x. Did that happen?

Can anybody help?

[Discuss-gnuradio] Question about Modulation

2007-05-09 Thread Benedikt . Raming
Hi at all,

during the work on my diploma thesis I have to deal with Gnu Radio to set up a
baseband modem.

Now I've got a question:

Is there a good place to find available modules for modulation or coding ? If
there ist a place, maybe anyone can give me a hint where to find.

Thanks for your help!
