Yep, it's a massive and fun topic.
If you want cyclostationary stuff, that was just added to the Spectral
Estimation toolbox (on https://www.cgran.org/wiki/SpecEst)

Bill,

Automatic Modulation Classification (AMC) is still a heavily researched
area, and you should be able to find hundreds of papers on the topic by
searching IEEE for 'automatic modulation classification'.  There are
algorithms that use energy analysis, imaging techniques, cyclostationarity
analysis, and many, many more.

You can find some literature on this topic by searching under
"modulation classification".
I know that in the 90's a lot of work in this area came from the USC group.
