Re: [Discuss-gnuradio] jackit cvs rep not accessible
I mean without double sound card and external connectors... if you mean this as well, how do you configure oss or alsa to let usrp sink to something that is the sound source for such a program as gmsfk or drm? As far as I know only jack can... - Original Message - From: "Eric Blossom" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Matteo Campanella" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: "Robert McGwier" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Sent: Monday, March 20, 2006 8:21 PM Subject: Re: [Discuss-gnuradio] jackit cvs rep not accessible On Mon, Mar 20, 2006 at 07:44:41PM +0100, Matteo Campanella wrote: Well, in the meanwhile, as jackaudio seems the only way to use a soundcard based decoding software as gmfsk or drm with usrp, is there anyone with a quite recent cva checkout willing to tarball it and send down here? gr-audio-alsa and gr-audio-oss both work. Re: [Discuss-gnuradio] jackit cvs rep not accessible
I am trying to use usrp as receiver and let it work in conjunction with let's say drm, that expects its input from a sound card. Is there any other way to make this happen than using jack audio? I have thoroughfully read the documentation of alsa, but I could not find any example or reference about how to build a virtual card able to "short-circuit" the output of an application to the input of another... any hint? ciao Matteo > - Original Message - > From: "Eric Blossom" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Matteo Campanella" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Cc: "Robert McGwier" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; > Sent: Monday, March 20, 2006 8:21 PM > Subject: Re: [Discuss-gnuradio] jackit cvs rep not accessible > > >> On Mon, Mar 20, 2006 at 07:44:41PM +0100, Matteo Campanella wrote: >>> Well, in the meanwhile, as jackaudio seems the only way to use a >>> soundcard >>> based decoding software as gmfsk or drm with usrp, is there anyone with >>> a >>> quite recent cva checkout willing to tarball it and send down here? >> >> gr-audio-alsa and gr-audio-oss both work. >> >> Eric >> >> > ___ Discuss-gnuradio mailing list Discuss-gnuradio@gnu.org http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss-gnuradio
