Re: [ACFUG Discuss] CRUD generation tools?
Model-Glue has scaffolding (CRUD generation by a different name) in it and I think the next version of Fusebox will have some as well. Outside the frameworks world there's a project at RIAForge that looks like what you want (I've not used it): http://squidhead.riaforge.org/. Re: [ACFUG Discuss] CRUD generation tools?
bugger, got anxious with the send button. Why do I like it? It uses XSLT and the scripts are all there for you to meddle with. Thus you can adjust the generator to your liking, in case you want to add quotes from Marvin in your beans or something. The Eclipse tools Adobe created are cool and work well, but they are not mutable. RE: [ACFUG Discuss] CRUD generation tools?
There are still a couple more options than have been listed here. Whenever a CF developer asks "what kind of tools are available to do ...", can I recommend folks direct them to my "tools and resources to consider" list: http://carehart.org/resourcelists/tools_to_consider/ It has over 40 categories and 400+ tools and resources. I list the code generating options mentioned here (and more) at: http://carehart.org/resourcelists/tools_to_consider/#cfcodegen /charlie -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tom Chambers Sent: Thursday, March 20, 2008 7:10 PM To: discussion@acfug.org Subject: [ACFUG Discuss] CRUD generation tools? hey folks been out of the mix for a while but about to get back into it. i have cf8 and dwcs3. i've read there are some easy to use crud generators out there but nothing specific. so, before i do the right thing and go sniff around on my own i thought i'd do the easier thing and ask you folks :) t - Annual Sponsor FigLeaf Software - http://www.figleaf.com To unsubscribe from this list, manage your profile @ http://www.acfug.org?fa=login.edituserform For more info, see http://www.acfug.org/mailinglists Archive @ http://www.mail-archive.com/discussion%40acfug.org/ List hosted by http://www.fusionlink.com - - Annual Sponsor FigLeaf Software - http://www.figleaf.com To unsubscribe from this list, manage your profile @ http://www.acfug.org?fa=login.edituserform For more info, see http://www.acfug.org/mailinglists Archive @ http://www.mail-archive.com/discussion%40acfug.org/ List hosted by http://www.fusionlink.com -
