If your functions do not live under the same web root as your Flash, but rely on CF mapping, you might want to set up an extension file locally. Our flash application is under the same webroot as our cfc's. We have one place in our application where we are trying to set a variable in the client scope and I can see in the logs that the new values are going in (and being set) but, when I read them back out I get the values at login.
