dateFormat(now(), "mm-dd-")

 

I always get the server time. How are you using it exactly?

NOW will give you the date/time from the server that is running the
ColdFusion service. Check your server.  If you are using a hosting service
you might have to compensate to get locale time.

use DateAdd to add (or subtract) the appropriate number of hours.

 for EST -4 for EDT
