Either way. But serving it up with a cfcontent instead of as an attachment would provide a degree of protection against redistribution (in theory) by an uninspired user. I think with the new CFPDF stuff that you can set the PDF to not allow saving or copying (among other things). additional thought... since you are probably sending this based on some sort of email list why dont you use that as the url parameter. cfcontent the file and serve it based on some sort of url code, and code it based on each email so you can track who is actually downloading it. The only way to block it from being forwarded would be to only allow 1 download but, not sure if you want to do that.
