Is the same request.method == "POST" and request.POST?
I have used both ways in my views, now I am wondering know if one is wrong and why. Re: Is the same request.method == "POST" and request.POST?
Correct, but it will also be empty if the user doesn't fill out any of the fields in the form(or whatever), and in that case you'd want to return the page with the appropriate errors. The correct way to test is to do request.method == "POST", not test request.POST, because that could be empty even on a post request.
