What do you mean by that? */devuan repos contain only packages forked by devuan, while */merged contain all the packages offered by Devuan, and you are redirected to Debian's repos for packages that were not forked. So if you need a full repo, you should use the */merged version, always. It's in the devuan-minimal-live blend. dear Ozi, On Mon, 16 Jul 2018, Ozi Traveller wrote: >I just want to clarify which are the best repos to use to build >an live and or installable image from? Since the beginning of Devuan we are working on a "Simple Distro Kit" which is first and foremost used to produce consistently all the targets covered by Devuan (live, arm and vm). This SDK may be seen as one of the biggest innovations brought by Devuan: it has been rewritten already three times and is maintained here https://git.devuan.org/sdk Devuan's SDK is already adopted by fsmithred, parazyd (who is its lead developer as of now) and en route for integration with the work that Katolaz is doing on the minimal live. It supports a system of 'blends' that can be then built on any existing Devuan target. We are on track for releasing a "Devuan's developer manual" including extensive information on how to operate this SDK, meanwhile the READMEs and live interaction over IRC are the best way to dig this tool. ciao ___ Dng mailing list Dng@lists.dyne.org https://mailinglists.dyne.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dng
[DNG] live-sdk or live-build repos to use?
I just want to clarify which are the best repos to use to build an live and or installable image from? I've done a number of build recently using these repos. But this is currently broken. I've tried other combinations of repos, but they had missing packages. _MIRROR_BINARY="http://pkgmaster.devuan.org/merged; _INSTALLER_MIRROR="http://pkgmaster.devuan.org/devuan; I found I had to do it this way because not all of the d-i, including initrd and vmlinuz, were in the same repo. the packages in http://pkgmaster.devuan.org/devuan are currently being update/changed so I can't build atm. I'm looking for some clarification on which repos I should/shouldn't use ozi ___ Dng mailing list Dng@lists.dyne.org https://mailinglists.dyne.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dng
