The DSSSL and Jade mechanisms seems to work well in this point. Why do you need to change Jadetex? Regards, Juan R. Because I cannot get it to do a page-number-restart on a make simple-page-sequence for me at all. I have page one of a chapter showning as Page 1-11, rather than 1-1. Regards, Juan R.
