Title: RE: a new Doobie find

The first time I saw that record was the summer 1974 in the Tower Of Records in Hollywood, CA. Being a young and inexperienced 17 year old I looked at the cover and thought, Who are those guys? Got a lot of nerve using the Doobie Brothers' name. Since I THOUGHT they did not look like the same guys from Toulouse St and The Captain and Me and there were only 4 guys on the cover I blew it off.

Later that year at Christmas I got the album as a present, gave it a listen, and then realized, Ohhh. BUTTHEAD!!

Later,
Steve

Hugh,
The first album is one of my favorites, especially Greenwood Creek and The
Master!
So glad that you found it and know that you'll wear it out listening to it
over and over I've enjoyed all of their music and believe it or not you
are well on your way to being a FANatic if you are even looking for Doobie
music :) The Doobies have seen me through some really rough times with their
music just kick back and enjoy the tunes!

To the greatest group of people I've met on the net...

Barbara had the surgery today and it went fine. She's understandably in lots
of pain, but they said they want her to walk tomorrow!

Thanks to all of you for your prayers and support. Thank you to all of you
that wrote me personally. We really appreciate it.

Thanks again,

Scott and Barbara
