Hi All,

Looking for a little help, please.

We're getting the following showing up
in our dovecot logs: `Debug:
Mailbox Junk: Couldn't get vsize from
mailbox list index: Record for
vsize`. This is happening for all(?)
the different mailboxes

We're not sure what we're looking at or
looking for to even begin the
t/shoot. I dropped the above into
google but couldn't *seem* to find
anything relevant.

Would someone(s) be able to point me in
the right direction as to what
the actual issue is (ie some more in-
depth detail than just the log
message - yes, it may be obvious to
some but not to me) and, more
importantly, what to look at to get it
resolved, please.  :-)

Thanks in advance

Dulux-Oz
It's a debug message, not an error or warning.
It's just saying that the vsize information
   wasn't in mailbox list index.

   Aki
  Thanks Aki,

OK, cool, so how does the vsize info get there - ie how to
  get I get rid
of the warning messages (as opposed to simply ignoring
  them)  :-)

Yes, that's what I meant by "as opposed to simply ignoring them"  :-)

Re: Can Dovecot Use Wildcard TLS Certificates?

2023-11-06 Thread Matthew J Black
Hello Andry,
I don't know how or why it happened, but your email only hit my inbox a few
minutes ago - approx 13:30 UTC 6 November 2023.
Thank you for sending it me (on the 28 September), but in the intervening 5-
6 weeks I got that issue sorted (it was a SELinux issue in the end).
So, again, thanks, but by now a solved issue  :-)
Cheers

 Greetings, duluxoz!
Quick Q: Can dovecot use wildcard TLS Certificates?
  I'm having issues with a new dovecot/postfix stack set-up
  and I can't get
mutt on the local box to connect via imap - its coming back
  with an SSL
error, and as I'm using a wildcard cert for the domain I
was wondering if that was my issue.
If dovecot can use wildcard certs then I'll look elsewhere
  in my troubleshooting.
Provide your certificate attributes for better diagnostic.

openssl x509 -in cert -noout -text
