I'm not having any problems on my XP box.

Just curious, did you uninstall the previous version before installing
this 4.0 build?

I've noticed since installing this build that F8 no longer works
to scroll back through previous commands (although Ctrl-B still does).
Is there an easy config-file tweak to correct this, or am I just going
to have to retrain my fingers?

I never new about these hot keys, I just use up and down arrow. Neither
of the mentioned hot keys work for me in 3.1.9.2.

Hi Tom,

I never new about these hot keys, I just use up and down
arrow. Neither of the mentioned hot keys work for me in 3.1.9.2.

The differences between F8 and up and down is that F8 lets you search
your history. Type in a few characters from within a search you've used
before and then press F8 (when it works) and it will review the searches
you've used with that phrase in it. I use it ALL the time.

Cool ! Thanks Glenn, I can't wait to test it.

I'm glad I've setup my SVN thingie so that I at last sent in my searches
changes only 2 weeks ago. :)
