[Drakelist] SPF-796 substitute
Does anyone have a cross-reference for this JFET? It was used in the RV75 and the 4245's VRTO, among others. Just bought the last two pairs which Jon Kriner had and need several more pairs - or an equivalent. The 7075 was a Turner ceramic. The common as dirt Turner +3 (with the internal amplifier removed) would probably be equivalent. Paint it black and no one would ever know. http://www.dproducts.be/DRAKE_MUSEUM/nouvellepage4.htm 73 -Jim -- Ham Radio NU0C TR7/RV7/R7A/L7, TR6/RV6, T4XC/R4C/L4B, NCL2000, SB104A, R390A, GT550A/RV550A, HyGain 3750, IBM PS/2 - all vintage, all the time! Re: [Drakelist] Manufacturer of Old Drake Mikes.
Philip, The 7075 looks like the Turner +3 if my memory still works. I had one, and wish I still did. I'm going to try the Heil Vintage Goldline with my TR4C. At least I'll know the element is good, hi. 73, Don, WB5HAK___ Drakelist mailing list Drakelist@zerobeat.net http://mailman.zerobeat.net/mailman/listinfo/drakelist

I'm finding it quite difficult to locate a Drake 7075 microphone in hopes to keep my TR-4C station pure "Drake". Does anyone know what current microphone (manufacturer and model number) would best counterpart the old 7075 in design and function? Also, who was the manufacturer of the 7075? Thank you.
