[Drakelist] Xtal problems
Some of the std crystals seem to be duff in my latest R-4C aquisition, is this a common problem or am I being a bit unlucky here? never come across this before, meanwhile, anyone got a set of stock xtals lying around they don't want ;-), also need the circular mylar film scale behind the crystal band change knob, not scribbled to death, just not there. 73 Max -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter. [Drakelist] Hayseed service interruption
December 21st, 2009 - We've been informed by one of our major suppliers that they are experiencing a material shortage and will not be able to supply one of the critical parts for our twist-tab type cans, at least for the present. So, as of today we are forced to stop taking orders for custom type can-capacitors. We are working with the factory to come up with a way to get the problem remedied and get back into production. For now, all orders placed prior to noon today will be honored. Also, we have a considerable number of kit in stock, and we will post a list of those shortly. At the present, we do not know when we be able to replenish this stock as it depends on when the material becomes available from the factory again. Availability of tubular and Collins Plug-In caps is not affected. Please check the web-site for further details as they become available. [Drakelist] Drake C-Line Power Cable
Hello Drake List, Does anyone out there know where to source a 120 VAC flat 3 conductor grey AC power cable similar to that used on the C-Line equipment? I need to replace a frayed FS-4 AC cable that my daughter's rabbit found especially tasty and would like to find something close to the OEM. Perhaps I am searching in the wrong area but all I can find to date are the round black AC power cords common on today's test equipment which I don't believe will fit properly into the crimp connector on the back of the chassis.
