[Drakelist] RV-4C
Hi all, I recently acquired an RV-4C to go with my TR-4C. The problem I am experiencing is when the RV-4C is in the RCV mode, I can still hear the station in another part of the band the TR-4C is tuned to. In other words when I switch the RV-4C on the TR-4C is not completely blocked out. I do have a good ground strap connected between the two units. Any ideas? Thanks, Don ___ Drakelist mailing list Drakelist@zerobeat.net http://mailman.zerobeat.net/mailman/listinfo/drakelist
Re: [Drakelist] Soft Start
Woody, Including the relay? I would be concerned about the relay if it's that cheap?? Maybe that's why some have been DOA? Just asking. 73, Lee -Original Message- From: Woody To: Drakelist Sent: Fri, Mar 25, 2011 11:29 am Subject: [Drakelist] Soft Start As I said before in my post I have determined that I received a bad relay in my parts from Harbach and have heard the same from some of you. I didn't get much response from Harbach so I called Mouser and ordered all of the parts to totally rebuild the board with new parts. It cost me less than $5.00 plus shipping from Mouser. They will be here Monday and by the way I ordered enough to build 2 boards for about $9 and change, I'll roll my own from now on. Thanks for all the help!!! [Drakelist] Harbach Parts
* * * * *I received this email from Jeff shortly after I made my last post. I did not mean it as a cut down on his product, but I did email him the first part of the week and got no offer of parts. And I am not so cheap to try to con someone out of a $2 part. I have used many of his parts over the years for SB 220's and have had really good luck out of them so I was not cutting his product down. Just making a statement that this **one** out of probably thousands he sells did not work.* *Woody* * Jeff Weinberg to me show details 10:35 AM (9 minutes ago) All you had to do was call me and let me know you needed replacement parts and I would have sent them to you.
