That 'fuse' resistor (27 ohm / 1/2 Watt resistor is for the entire +250 vdc
bus. Frying of this resistor often indicates a shorted or shorting can cap,
but can also result from leaky bypass caps, shorted tube elements, or after 40
years even just from fatigue.
Current should be about 150 mA or a little less.

I have a TR4CW/RIT that has a short in the screen voltage area. There
is a small ohm resister in the output of the screen supply that has
lost its smoke. I think that it is 27 ohm's, it's been a while since
I looked at the problem, and I think that it is there to act as a fuse
if one of the screen capacitors shorts.
Any recommendations on a Drake repair specialist in the Tucson/ Phoenix area?
Or
I am going up to Bellingham, Washington in a couple weeks and could
drop it off at a west coast specialist on my way up and pick it up two
weeks later on my way home.
