I use a Y-cable attached to the VFO Key port on the back of the 2NT. The one side goes directly to the HA5 VFO and the other goes to the AmpKeyer. The AmpKeyer in turn connects to the L4B. [Drakelist] Drake 2B Restoration
I am starting to restore a 2B from German EBay. The 2BQ connector on the receiver chassis has for some reason been replaced with a PL-50 Coax Connector. Does anyone have a source for this connector? I have tried to contact WB4FHN, but my emails are bounced, Sender Address Rejected. Sorry that was my typo, I used the Click to Contact on his website and it still bounces. Yes I know the connection should be 4-wire and the connector was made by Cinch-Jones. I hope not too many other improvements were made. Maybe that is why you can't email him?? I can't help you on the PL-50. I have a 2B/2BQ and the existing connection is a four wire type connector. The Q mult uses more than 2 leads.
