I have the following original R.L. Drake printed items that I found and no longer need: Original RV-75/R-7 Adapter Model 1544 operations pamphlet. This three page document came with the 1544 adapter when new. A bit yellowed from age but otherwise in good shape. Free to the first needy respondent for the cost of envelope and postage. I also came across 7 original copies of the TR-7 data sheets that were created for advertising and information in Ham Radio stores, hamfests and via mail. The sheets are titled "TR7 solid state continuous coverage synthesized hf system" . The TR7 is pictured (Model 1336). The sheets are double sided, blue and black on cream colored paper with narrative highlights on the front and specs and accessories on the back. $2.39 each postage paid in the lower 48. That receiver had all the sherwood modifications installed along with 3 Drake filters, the noise blanker and an original manual. If there is any doubt as to the value of a Sherwood modified R-4C, just ask some of the owners ... Sherwood Engineering still does several of these reveivers every month. Excellent condition, full output, power supply has been completely rebuilt (Caps, Diodes and Resistors). Cabinet shows less than normal wear but is not "mint". The panel is very good with a few very tiny marks from normal use, again not "mint" but very good. The rear chassis has been updated to include an RCA jack for the VOX relay input in addition to the stock Drake two prong plug. Manual included. $750 plus shipping from 46835. Pick up is preferred due the weight of this heavy duty amplifier and power supply. Shipping will be in three boxes (RF Deck, Power Supply and Tubes) and the cost will be the actual cost of packing and shipping via UPS ground. [Drakelist] B Line For Sale
I have an excellent+ B Line that I would like to sell to someone who will use it and enjoy it as I have. This is a pristine station. Until last summer, the receiver had been stored unused in it's original packing when I bought it from a collector. It has been gone through by one of the premier Drake technicians in the Midwest and pronounced in perfect health. The transmitter is also a very nice piece although it was used on line and is rated to be in excellent vs pristine condition. Chassis on both are bright and clean, there are no marks on either front panel, the knobs are all original and excellent to mint, both cabinets are excellent with the transmitter showing some light rubbing on the lower cabinet shell on the front lip not through the paint though. The station is functional and on the air although on a limited basis to much travel to play ham radio! The station includes the R-4B in pristine condition with the original manual, the T-4XB in Excellent condition with original manual, all connecting cables (not original), MS-4 speaker in excellent condition and the AC-4 Power Supply in Excellent condition. Serious inquiries only please. If no one finds this station of interest it will go up for sale on the auction site next weekend. Shipping will be the actual cost to pack and cover UPS.
