Yes, the switches are obviously a different material and do not fade. The buttons seem like they were 'dipped in red ink' or very thin paint. I removed my 2-B from the cabinet to view the button from behind. It is more pink,back there so it probably was red so many years ago. The red switches are still red and the dial is clear, so it may have not been in the sun.
