Hi all,

Any recommendations for a source to get tubes for my R-4B. I would like to 
re-tube the entire unit. It's long overdue.

Bill,
Try Googling K5SVC, Frank Krize.  He has an Ebay store with a good selection 
of tubes.  He has the R4B kit complete with the hard to find ones at I think 
a reasonable price.  I'm sure there are others, but Frank has NOS military 
tubes and good quality.

Bill,
Upon looking at Frank's site, I don't see the R4B kit, but email Frank, he may 
still have them.  The 6HS6 is becoming rare, and he may have run out of them.  
Garey suggested a sub, but I'll have to dig through my humble archives to see 
if I can dig that up.

6AH6 was the suggested sub for the 6HS6.  Both are mixers, so should work fine.
