Hello Phil.
I am not sure how much this will help but a few years ago (5 maybe) someone
posted to this list saying that the Radio Shack 40-1261 speaker 5x7 was a
good replacement. Unfortunately Radio Shack discontinued it not too long
after that. You might be able to find one somewhere or a good quality 5x7
from MCM or Parts Express and others might make a good replacement speaker
for the MS-4.

Anyone know a source for a replacement speaker for the MS-4. I have a good
MS-4 cabinet ,but the speaker has gone bad.
