[Bug 11727] Latest Mesa + DRI is terrible slow on Intel i915
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11727 [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEEDINFO|RESOLVED Resolution||NOTABUG --- Comment #5 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007-07-26 13:39 PST --- OK, the problem is that the latest Intel driver disables Tiling on i915 (due to XV corruption and lockup). Disabled tiling of depth and back buffers causes terrible slow down. So this bug can be closed. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. [Bug 11694] via drm module ooopses (3D Application segfaults)
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11694 [EMAIL PROTECTED] changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEEDINFO|RESOLVED Resolution||WORKSFORME --- Comment #2 from [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007-07-26 11:46 PST --- I close this bug, as I noticed I had DisableIRQ activated. I deactivated it and the crashes are gone. As there is also a cd-burner that from time to time seems to cause an IRQ storm and as this seemed to be tied to the activation of X I blamed it on the via driver and deactivated the IRQ. Further testing showed, that accessing the burner shut down the storm. Please excuse the noise. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
