[Dri-devel] Do Matrox/ATI help DRI devs?
I asked about this on dri-users but I think it may be better placed here. I was just browsing around the developer relations areas of the ATI and Matrox sites, and I'm getting the impression that they don't really care about having open source DRI drivers available for their products. Are these companies friendly towards XFree86/DRI devs? That is to say, do they provide timely, accurate, and complete docs? Are they helpful? I'm interested in supporting the most DRI-friendly manufacturers by buying their products, but I also think this information would be interesting to developers considering working on the DRI.
