16-bit modes now work correctly in both the MGA and R200 drivers.  I was 
going to update the R100 driver as well, but it looks like the changes 
to the new interface for that driver were never committed.

Roland: Were you going to commit your changes to the R100 driver?  Aside 
from incorporating recent fixes to the MGA / R200 driver, your patch 
form 13-Feb-2004 looked fine to me:
