I compiled the cvs again and this time it worked! And xvideo is also
working.

Yes, if make install finished without problems and you're actually
running the self-built stuff.

BTW I forgot to mention that everything will be slow like hell. :) It
might be worth seeing if Option "NoAccel" works around the problem
though.

I had the same problem when I build it from cvs. Can I disable XAA ?
And what will it affect if I do so?

There seem to be compatibility problems with the current snapshots, relating 
to either XAA changes or a change in the compiler used to build them.

Maybe we should stop producing the snapshots until this is fixed?
