I have to migrate a small EPrints repository to a collection in DSpace. I need some more metadata fields. Like local.contact_email, local.official_url, ...
Is it enough to add the fields in ...dspace_6.2_src_release/dspace/config/registries/local-types.xml ? If I add a field and then I drop it or rename it - will this have some "cost"? When no items are using the field of course.
