you wouldn't by any chance be able to get a hold of the server log when
this happens? Really difficult to tell from the frontend message only.

2023-11-20 Thread 'Maruan Sahyoun' via DSpace Technical Support
the reason for the error is
...
Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: bad_dublin_core
schema=cris.submission.definition. Metadata field does not exist!
...

It looks like you are running DSpace-CRIS but don't have the CRIS-related
metadata schema installed.

2023-11-20 Thread 'Manish Kumar' via DSpace Technical Support
Hi all,

We are using our own ui and have integrated dspace with it. we have
provided image copying feature(at ui) from one collections to another
collections rather than moving it. We need api for this action(copy Image
to other collection).

I need your all suggestions for same. Will be highly appreciated.

[dspace-tech] Re: Import of zip file not working on DSpace 7.6

2023-11-20 Thread 'Maruan Sahyoun' via DSpace Technical Support
if I'm not mistaken from the screenshots provided you were using the
validate option.

According to the docs this doesn't actually import the data:

-v --validate
test run - do not actually import items

depends on the number of cores of the host.

I've running a private DSpace 7.6 on raw iron (i7-3770, 8 Cores) with 4
cores for pm2, 16GBs RAM, HW RAID5 and it is the most responsive DSpace
I've seen so far (does mot mean much) compared to those VMs I've seen
here at work :) .
