authorization for university staff. Now we want university students to log 
in via LDAP as well. I wanted to ask how can I enable a second LDAP group 
for students?

[dspace-tech] Redirect to home-page, when change language in Dspace 7.5

Hello dear Dspace community! I can not solve one problem and I ask you for 
help!
In repository https://repository.kaznu.kz/home. 
I left only three languages. When changing to any of them, I change the 
language, but the redirect goes to the home-page. What could be the problem?

[dspace-tech] Dspace Active directory Ldap Auth

Hello dear Dspace community! I can not solve one problem for 4 months, and 
I ask you for help!
I installed Dspace 7.4 on an Ubuntu 20.04 virtual private server.
Now I would like students to login to Dspace via Active Directory LDAP. But 
the problem is that our system administrators only know about the Windows 
Server OS and are not familiar with the Linux OS. So they don't know how to 
link Active Directory to Ubuntu server.
I have found several guides. And it says that you need to install the 
OpenLDAP server.
But if I understand correctly, then this is necessary for authorization in 
Ubuntu OS. But I want to login to Dspace 7.4 not Ubuntu.
Therefore, I would like to ask you:
1) Do I need to install OpenLDAP on Ubuntu
2) If so, how then to link OpenLDAP with Dspace 7.4? So that Dspace can 
look up a user in Active Directory?
3) If I don't need to install OpenLDAP, what should I do to make Dspace 7.4 
on Ubuntu look for users in the Windows Server Active Directory?

[dspace-tech] Dspace Active directory Ldap Auth

Здравствуйте, уважаемое сообщество Dspace! Не могу решить одну проблему уже 
4 месяца, и прошу вас о помощи! 
Я установил Dspace 7.4 на виртуальный выделенный сервер Ubuntu 20.04. 
Теперь я хотел бы, чтобы студенты вошли в Dspace через Active Directory 
LDAP. Но проблема в том, что наши системные администраторы знают только об 
ОС Windows Server и не знакомы с ОС Linux. Поэтому они не знают, как 
связать Active Directory с сервером Ubuntu.
Я нашел несколько руководств. И там написано, что нужно установить сервер 
*OpenLDAP* . 
Но если я правильно понимаю, то это необходимо для авторизации в ОС Ubuntu. Но 
я хочу войти в Dspace 7.4, а не в Ubuntu.
Поэтому я хотел бы попросить вас:
1) Нужно ли устанавливать OpenLDAP на Ubuntu
2) Если да, то как тогда связать OpenLDAP с Dspace 7.4? Чтобы Dspace мог 
искать пользователя в Active Directory?
3) Если мне не нужно устанавливать OpenLDAP, что мне сделать, чтобы Dspace 
7.4 в Ubuntu искал пользователей в Windows Server Active Directory?
Пожалуйста, подскажите конкретные шаги, как решить эту проблему, пожалуйста!

I deployed the repository for the first time and I can't fully understand 
what I'm doing wrong. I've been trying to do this for two months and

Hello everyone. I need your help.  I want to run DSpace in Production and I 
can't understand the installation instructions in point - 16  Production 
Installation (adding HTTPS support). I have never deployed a website in my 
life and this is the first time I am deploying a website. Therefore, I ask 
you to describe in detail step by step how to do it:

   I installed apache httpd. Command -sudo apt install apache2
   2. 
   
   And I installed the mod_proxy and mod_proxy_ajp modules. Command -   sudo 
   a2enmod proxy; sudo a2enmod proxy_ajp
   3. 
   
   I have included AJP connector in Tomcat server.xml 
   4. 
   
   I restarted apache. Command - sudo systemctl restart tomcat9.service
   5. 
   
   I have an SSL certificate from the university.
   6. 
   
   Where to put an SSL certificate?
   7. 
   
   How to set up a new VirtualHost? Where should it be by default? Or does 
   it need to be created? If it needs to be created, what format should the 
   file be (for example: .txt , .xml, )?
   
I have a frontend be in the dspace-angular-dspace-7.4 folder

[dspace-tech] I cant create administrator dspace 7.4

Hello everyone. I need your help. I have two questions.

I installed dspace 7.4. And created a dspace administrator. 
e-mail: dspace_admin
passwd:dspace
But I can't login with this username. Is it mandatory to enter an email 
address?

when I want to create a new administrator , I run the command:
*dspace@dspace7:/opt/solr-8.11.2/bin$ /dspace/bin/dspace 
create-administrator *
it gives the following error:
*-bash: /dspace/bin/dspace: Permission denied*
What's my mistake?
How to create a DSpace administrator correctly?
Is it possible to create multiple administrators?
