Hi Eric, we adjusted https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/blob/dspace-6_x/dspace-oai/src/main/java/org/dspace/xoai/util/ItemUtils.java in order to add missing information (the description of the bitstream was missing in an older version). Maybe the information about the owning collection and collections an item is mirrored to might be usefull in general. Best create a JIRA Ticket.
