[Dspace-tech] Deleting items in workflow
Hi, Has anyone else encountered problems using the item importer to delete collections when some of the items are still in the workflow process? We imported over 100 items using the item importer (including the --workflow option), approved some of the items for submission to the collection, then later decided to delete the collection. The utility appears to delete all the items (running through the list of item IDs), but only the items approved for submission to the collection are actually deleted. Does anyone have any ideas about how to clean up the items left in the workflow without having to manually approve/reject/abort each individual item? [Dspace-tech] customize itemlist with thumbnail
Hey folks What I'd like to do is customize the itemlist in Dspace to display a thumbnail (this way the user can see the thumbnail while they're browsing rather than having to click on a link to see it). I can probably do this without using filter-media to even create a thumbnail, since one of my bitstreams (I have 4 bitstreams per record, and each is the same image but in a different size) is already thumbnail size. Has anyone already done this and, if so, was it difficult to setup? [Dspace-tech] Controlled vocabularies add-on
So, I stared trying to shoehorn the University of Minho Ontology Add-on into dspace 1.4. While doing so, I found the built in Controlled Vocabulary Add-on. So, I enabled it in dspace.cfg, and for testing tried the nsi vocabulary by adding nsi to the input-forms.xml file for the subject element. Rebuilt and started a submisison. According to the More Help... there should be a "Subject Categories" link underneath the input field. But there is nothing. The instructions in configure.html were pretty straight forward. Just 2 steps. Any ideas what is wrong? Thanks, Chris - Take Surveys. Earn Cash. [Dspace-tech] Load of data directly in Base of data
I have installed Dspace 1.4.1, BD Oracle 10g and want to directly make a load in the BD (communities, collections and users,…)before they begin to record through the application. I have already made it and works, but I have not filled up tables HISTORY and HISTORYSTATE, as is the functionality of these tables? and the application with the initial charge will work if these tables have not filled up. - Take Surveys.
