That's a very good guess! I haven't yet gotten around to building a dspace with some more debugging around the search code to see what's actually happening, but this is very plausible. Looking the our DB, there were a few non-ISO format dates, and a couple nulls. I updates the bad format dates, removed the nulls, and reindexed, but search by date issued still doesn't work. Hi Diwakar, We have seen cases in the past where particular submissions can't be deposited. In some cases this is due to large file sizes. In others it is unclear, but it could be related to a known UTF-8 bug, which we have a fix for and is currently being tested. In both of these cases, we export the submission from Vireo and import it into the IR manually. If you are unable to deposit any submissions, and haven't recently changed anything in Vireo, then the problem is likely external, for example authenticating with your IR.
