[Dspace-tech] Dspace-tech] Remove Recent Submission List
Is there a way to remove the Recent Submissions section that shows up on the right side bar of a community or collection page? We would like to put something else over there, but whenever we add items to the collection, the text gets pushed down by links to the newly submitted items. We are running DSpace on a Windows server if that helps. [Dspace-tech] Mac OS 10.6 issues
Is anyone reporting any issues loading DSpace on Macs with 10.6 (snow leopard) using Firefox or Safari? I was wanting to check out our site today to see how some graphics turned out and it is taking way too long for pages to load. This has happened a couple of times since I upgraded (which I deeply regret doing). [Dspace-tech] Bulk uploading
My school is looking to upload roughly 200 files some time soon. I have been told that there is a relatively easy way to do this as a bulk upload as opposed to the single uploading through the online interface. We are running a postgres database, dspace 1.5.1, windows server setup. Any ideas of where I can go for some decent documentation on how to do this? [Dspace-tech] Database Question
We are having issues with our current installation of DSpace (1.5.1) that we have been troubleshooting and can't seem to solve. One option as a solution would be to download and recreate DSpace from scratch. The question I have is this: If we were to take a do-over and recreate DSpace from scratch, having copied our Postgres database prior the rebuild, would not the communities and collections that we currently have be transferrable to the new version? Thanks for any help you can offer...
