[Dspace-tech] HTTP Status 500 error
Hello, I am receiving the following error when I got to our DSpace home page. I've restarted DSpace and all DSpace related processes, which fixes the issue temporarily. Does anyone know how to fix? Re: [Dspace-tech] epubs in DSpace
Hi Mark, Thanks for your response. By supported, I was wondering if an out of the box DSpace install would be able to store EPUBs and make them accessible or would we have to develop that functionality. From your email, It seems like it would be something that we would have to develop in-house if we wanted to store EPUB in our DSpace. Date: Thu, 17 Mar 2011 11:39:55 -0400 From: Mark H. You can store *any* kind of file in a DSpace bitstream and describe it using almost any sort of metadata. What specific forms of support are you looking for? It does look as though text extraction from EPUB for indexing would be a useful and doable extension for DSpace. -- Mark H. [Dspace-tech] epubs in DSpace
Hello all, I've been doing some research on whether the epub format is supported in DSpace. Surprisingly, I'm finding very little information in regards to DSpace. Is anyone using DSpace as a repository for epubs?
