2014-01-27 Thread Hilton Gibson
Hi

Also ran into this problem with DSpace 3.2.
Helix helped and I have documented the fix.
See: http://wiki.lib.sun.ac.za/index.php/SUNScholar/Optimisations/Tomcat

[Dspace-tech] [SPAM] DSpace 4.0 is not showing browse or search results

2014-01-27 Thread damanzano
I upgraded my DSpace platform to 4.0 but I'm having problems with the browse
search results, I have already done all the migration steps but whe I browse
my communities or collections by title, author, subject or any other index I
got no results, like in this link http://prntscr.com/2n1ics

I thought i was a SOLR problem but the OAI interface and the statistics are
working fine look at http://prntscr.com/2ltwmh and
http://prntscr.com/2ltwzh.

I have already executed the command dspace index-discovery -f several times
but the result is always the same. Then I decided to re-build all the search
index from scratch using the command dspace index-discovery -b but even
with that i still did not get results

You can find all the config files and the indexation process and solr logs
through the following link
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xf2kb2jgoapgn1g/VeEv_QC1og

I have spent almost 2 weeks trying to solve this problem,

Here are some features of our machine

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP1 (x86_64)
virtualization with vmware esxi
8 GB RAM
500 GB Hard drive
Java version "1.7.0_45"
Tomcat version "7.0.50"
Oracle "11.2.0.3.0" database

Thanks for your help!
