the latest stable version is 1.8.2. You can always find the latest
stable version here:

You can find all issues that were fixed in 1.8.1 and 1.8.2 in their
respective release notes:

There is now one major version released per yer and the next version
called 3.0 will be released before the end of the year.
However, if you had any problem with 1.8.0 that isn't fixed in 1.8.2,
you're supposed to report it to Jira, where we track these issues. If
we don't know there is an issue, we can't fix it.
