Re: [Dspace-tech] Configurable browse error
Thanks, Graham. I ran index-update, but was under the mistaken impression that index-init only had to be run once, at installation. Is this in the documentation? If not, should it be added? You have to run [dspace-installation]/bin/index-init after you have changed/installed the configuration. [Dspace-tech] Configurable browse error
We've been playing around with the configurable browse, and decided to configure a new browse index based on the metadata element "dc.type". I added the following line to our dspace.config: webui.browse.index.5 = type:metadata:dc.type:text This did, indeed, create a navigation link for "Type"; but clicking on the link produces a server error. Checking the logs reveals a whole bunch of errors, each with the following line at the top of the stack: org.dspace.browse.BrowseException: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: relation "bi_5_dis" does not exist Anybody else experienced this?
