I would check the ownership and permission on /home/dspace to make
certain that OS user 'dspace' can create files there.

Does your dspace user home directory (/home/dspace) exist?
Does the dspace user have permission to write to this directory?

While installing DSpace in centOS, I am getting the following errors
after the command mvn package; please help.

[root@localhost /]# su dspace

bash-3.2$ mvn package
