Thanks for your response with mvn -U clean package build runs successfully but sudo mvn -Pxpdf-mediafilter-support package trying to enable that package it fails. It should be within the same mvn run: mvn -U clean package -Pxpdf-mediafilter-support Alternatively, delete your ~/.m2/ directory to force maven to download all dependencies again. Do you have any reason to run maven as root? There's no need to do so. Actually i have run it before while troubleshooting. i deleted ~/.m2/repository and downloaded afresh and i didn't work.
