Hi Jeffrey, We run Dspace with Postgres on Solaris without any problems. Only one thing that springs to mind, when untarring any open source products (eg Tomcat) use GNU tar (gtar) rather than the Solaris tar. Other than that the normal Dspace instructions apply http://www.dspace.org/index.php?option=com_contenttask=viewid=151. I've not had to install it on Solaris yet, but I'm due to visit a university in the UK to do so in a few weeks time, so would appreciate hearing about your experience. I can't imagine there will be too many difficulties.
