[Dspace-tech] dspace customization and administration

Hello am new to dspace and i want to be a dspace administrator but i have
been
 able to get dspace up and runing. i need help so i can take charge of the
customization and
the administration of dspace. so please i would be glad if anyone can be of
assitance since
dspace documentation is too technical for me.thank you in advance

Hi Nicholas,

I'm afraid that being an administrator is an inherently technical task.

If you need more help, you can either ask a specific question you need
help with here, one at a time. For more complex ecucation, you can
contact your local dspace user group.

If you only want to take care of content and leave the administration
up to someone else, there are plenty of companies who will take care
of that for you, most prominently these [1].

I have tried to use the technical manual format ie: step-by-step.
It should be easy for new admins to follow.
It is based on open systems though, no proprietary system support at all.
